Hi, its me...I want to know how you decide what you are going to draw for the day? I have looked over some of your old drawings and they are all so different...Just curious.
That's a tough question in a way, but generally speaking it is normally one of these: it could be a theme for what's happening in my day to day life, something that someone has mentioned to me, just an idea, then there are also the completely random and unexpected doodles that just seem to turn up. On rare occasions, when I've been on a complete blank then still life has happened ;)
I try to draw a batch of doodles so that I do not have to doodle each day, however this doesn't always happen. :D
'The Errant Artist' is not only a fitting description of myself, but also an erratic ongoing collection of my artwork, cartoons and doodles; plus an insight into my thoughts as I endeavour to manage art, inspiration and everyday life.
